Yours to keep and return to whenever you need to pause

Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a guided journey into deep, gentle rest where the body softens and the mind floats in quiet awareness.

You don’t need to do anything but listen.

Rooted in ancient yogic tradition and increasingly supported by modern neuroscience, Yoga Nidra works by guiding the brain into a theta brainwave state, the same deeply restful state we pass through just before sleep. In this state, the nervous system shifts out of fight-or-flight and into the parasympathetic rest-and-digest response. Cortisol levels lower. The heart rate settles. Muscles release tension they didn't even know they were holding. Research suggests that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra can feel as restorative as several hours of conventional sleep.

Our Yoga Nidra and guided meditations are available anytime, anywhere via Insight Timer. Step into a soft pause during the day, or sink into a longer, evening practice that lets your energy realign, your breath deepen, and your body remember its natural rhythm.
