Hi, I’m Emma and welcome to Pause Within.

With a background in dance and sport, I’ve always been drawn to movement and the way it supports both the body and mental wellbeing.

During university and while working in hospitality, life started to feel pretty overwhelming. Long hours, constantly giving energy to others, and always needing to be “on” left me feeling disconnected and completely out of balance. Around that time, I found yoga. At first, it was a way to move my body, build strength, improve mobility, and physically unwind after long shifts.

Over time, it became so much more. My practice slowly turned into a space where I could pause and reflect, and better understand the connection between my body, mind, and my emotions. Since then, I’ve continued to deepen my learning through 300+ hours of trainings, immersions, and personal practice, shaping an approach that feels grounding, supportive, and adaptable to each person’s own needs.

Nature and the changing seasons are a big inspiration in my work. I love weaving seasonal rhythms and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles into my offerings to help people feel more balanced, rested, and connected both to themselves and the world around them.

Through Pause Within, my intention is to create welcoming spaces where people can pause, breathe, move, rest, and reconnect with themselves away from the noise of everyday life. I love creating sessions and workshops that feel personal, calming, and genuinely supportive for every individual or group.
